This project is vital to ensure the revolution and the fight against ISIS continue. It’s also a great chance to start the transition towards 100% organic agriculture.

FACTS:

– 90% of Rojava’s economy is agriculture (specifically wheat).
– Turkey is carrying out a big embargo against the Kurds, and wants to see Rojava fail.
– Last year only 10% of fertilizer was allowed through the embargo.
– Because of this, food production dropped to 30%.
– Goods are very expensive for common people because of a lack of fertilizer.
